"Good Flash"

Good job. Art and animation were good, the idea was funny... And that song was too funny. It was just random enough to be weird, but just normal enough to be good.

PLEASE give the artist who sang that song credit... I don't like when people don't do that. It sounds like SOAD but it can't be... Anyways, either reply to me and tell me who sung that song or post it when you submit the Flash...

"As Good As It Gets"

As I write this review on 3/7/2006, littleFoot sits at #1 on the Top 50. That is just about exactly where it belongs.

Come on now. Adam Phillips lays claim to the three of the best drawn and animated movies on this site. littleFoot has the best plot, and that is most likely why it is Numero Uno. The art and animation are S-U-P-E-R-B. Consistently excellent, in every aspect. Coloring, movement, shapes and shading, textures, etc etc etc. This Flash has the best of it all.

The story line wont appeal to many of the teenie-bopping NG-ers who want explosions, killing, blood, and immature humor. But people with a more intuitive sense of humor and a more open mind as to what makes a good Flash, this movie is the Ultimate Example.

Adam, your Flashes belong in the history books. You are one of the VERY few artists who really dont have much room for improvement. Please, please keep up the fantastic ARTwork.

You probably don't read reviews but if you happen to come across mine, thank you very much for setting the standard as to artistic and fantastic Flash movies. You impress me, ALOT - and that isn't easy to do.

"AWESOME"

This is what NG is all about. Fuck the professional-ass pop-culture Flashes. This shit is fucking cool. G.R.E.A.T. animation, style, sound, and so on. Stick figures? Who gives a shit, this is sticks at their best. Very, very good Flash - and I RARELY say that.

No suggestions or ideas, just MAKE MORE.

"Zenith Said It"

This movie was a little hard to get into cause it felt way too rushed. Zenith said "...take it out of fast-forward and into play" and I totally agree. You rushed through this Flash. It was funny, pretty well drawn, and a great idea. If you had slowed down a little you'd be rated even higher. For me, the rush-rush-rush speed of this made it hard for me to get into... But I did see the humor and skill in your work.

No suggestions except slow down. I'd also love to see more texture and detail in your art, but I know how hard animation is to do, so you get credit where credit is due - this is pretty good. Just like WarBears, I don't know if this is #1 on NG material, but it IS really really good. But you obviously have a whole metric shit ton of supporters, so keep up the great work.

For me, this seems a little over rated. But like I always say, to each his own. And also, I guess I expected a lot more - came into this expecting something else. Anyhoo, great Flash, but pretty over rated in my book.

"Nothing Special"

Graphics are okay... It's just his head - shooting... That's pretty weird. The idea is okay, the gameplay is easy. Good enought to survive, I think - bit it doesn't stand out.

My suggestion, if you care, is make a few other simple games like this and package them together. "The Family Guy" classic game re-makes, or whatver. Add a 'Main Menu', maybe even easter eggs. More interactivity, and so on.

But for what it is, its average. I'd love to see better stuff from you though, cause I can see you have Flash skills. Good luck.

"Pretty Good"

I like your style. Decent animation, good voice talent. Colors look good, and the story is solid. Definitely worth the watch - you should make a Mormons For Dummies Flash though... I'm not Mormon and I'm sure this would make alot more sense if I was, so forgive my ignorance. But I'll give a score on a curve cause I'm not Mormon. You are a solid artist and animator, I like all your movies, so keep up the great work!

"Meh..."

This was cool. Now I'm not the biggest fan of Madness 'Tributes' / Copycats. I think its unoriginal and kinda lame to take someone elses idea and try to make something with it.

BUT - This was artistically decent. Colors, animation, shapes and shading, detail, all was pretty good. I like that you didn't stick to the exact Madness movement style and weapon design like other lame-ass talentless fucks. You were a little original, so props. Plus it was pretty entertaining. Nice action and style (gave you a 4 cause it's still a Madness copy). Music was a good choice. Overall good decisions in separating this Madness copycat from others.

I love Krinkels, he's on my favorite's list. So I know what its like to be a Madness fan... But I think its time for talented people like you to take your skills and come up with unique characters and a unique story. I haven't seen your other Flash, but I'd still like to see something new from you that takes the skills you showed in THIS Flash and puts them to better use.

Good job, but I just couldn't quite be too impressed.

"Rediculously Difficuly"

This game was WAY too fucking difficult. I had to follow the walkthrough step-by-step to figure this game out. And that's not right. I've NEVER played a game so frusteratingly tough to figure out. The controls are easy enough, but the akward and random steps you must take to complete the game successfully are way to random and complicated to figure out. If you do one step wrong, you can't fix it, you have to start over.

I don't know how a game so hard could rate so high, but to each his own - I guess. The graphics and gameplay were okay, but the difficulty is bizarre - this game should NOT be so hard to figure out and so hard to play. For instance - the motorbike part took me six minutes, I kept hitting the mines that slowed me down. It doesn't matter how hard I tried to time my movements, those things hit me one after another. I restarted 10 times (from screwing up one step or another) before I got the walkthrough to help me.

It wasn't that fun to play, it was way short, too complicated, and not THAT great. And the sound was awful - basic sound effects, no soundtrack, and no voices or even sound effects were voices should be. A decent game worth a low to mid 3-rating, sure. #1 on NG, no way.

I'm sure people will vote this review as "Not helpful" cause everyone seems to fucking love this game - but I just didn't get it. Like I said, its alright, but it's by no means Madness Interactive, Stick RPG, or many of the other great NG games. Props though on your FIRST fucking submission making #1 on NG.

"My New Favortie Flash"

Well XGen, ya'll have finally won my heart.

I really didn't get !Fishy! or Defend Your Castle. They weren't complicated or any fun. But this... this I enjoyed.

Actually - I began playing this game at 1:30 Mountain Time and wrote this review at 4:28. Almost 3 hours for a Flash game is a new record for me (by about 2.5 hours) so congrats on winning my heart. I also visited your site and the forums within - and told several friends about this game so they can play at work. So this Flash has got you publicity as well.

The game design is fan-fucking-tastic. Easy to learn and master, but complicated and detailed enough to keep you busy for a long time. Too many options and features to list. Easter eggs galore. The PERFECT Flash game, with only a few exceptions.

The graphics were the weakest point, but ya'll played off that with jokes and and stuff. There are also a FEW glitches that present themselves during gameplay - but none that affect one's enjoyment of the gameplay.

I. CANNOT. FUCKING. WAIT. FOR. STICK RPG 2!!!

Great job - all my 5 truly are belong to this.

"Mixed Emotions"

The animation was okay - but certainly nothing special.

If I wanted to see this - I'll just go watch a movie by Krinkels and be twice as impressed and five times as entertained. This is a sad rip off of the Madness movies. It's too short, pointless, and no fun. Sorry but I didn't like it at all. Come on - that explosion was just dumb... Your movie was like less than 30 seconds long. That's just not good enough.

Being that this is your first movie, I'll excuse the copywrite infringement and I'll suggest you take your skills and branch out to something unique and more entertaining.
